Here it is, guys. The reason I started Red Ink Press.
I orginally started making my first zines in high school. They were a great outlet for my emotions and helped me to process a lot of my trauma and also helped to build my own worldview and political opinions.
I still hold true to that view now. My art intends to share a message. To stand up for isolated communities but also to show people my own experiences, in the hopes that people will find something to relate to.
RedPressInk is a huge rebrand of my orginal zinemaking business, alphachaoszines. I've changed a lot since then, and so has my outlook on life. This rebranding changes my overall goal in art- rather than just a side hustle or something I did for fun, I want to make a difference.
The name is a reference to my leftist outlook on life- I think I've always been touched by red, but with the current state of the world, it felt all the more important to reflect that in my business
